Most children in the Eastern Congo only eat once a day. Providing breakfast and lunch at school ensures that our students are ready to learn. These meals fuel our entire mission and account for the largest part of our monthly operating expenses.
In 2025, parts of Eastern Congo, including the village where we operate, were taken over by Rwandan-funded militants. The price and sources of nutritional food have become unstable and unpredictable. Every dollar counts.
