We pride ourselves on being excellent stewards of our students and your donations. And this year has been no exception. As 2024 comes to a close, we can look back with pride at how we’ve done so much with our budget.  Sometimes, however, the unexpected happens. Recently, this came in the form of unexpectedly strong storms. Eastern Congo is accustomed to the rainy season. But this time it came with harsh rains and wind that was almost tornado-like. Some local people lost their homes and 11 people died in the landslides caused by the storms. Although the damage to our school was much less catastrophic, it did disrupt the education of our girls.
