Mira Mutombo

Mira Nabushosi Mutombo was born in the Congo and came to Texas when her mother, Mama Gorethy and her family fled the violence in 1997. Mira believes that educating women is key to rapid development for any society. She is proud of how impactful her mother’s work has become, and enjoys working as a team with the board. “I love being part of something bigger than myself that impacts others and will outlast me.” Mira has a degree in finance from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is a wife, mother, a daughter, and an aunt to many, and she loves life.
