Our kids are back at school!

When we opened the Congo Restoration Girls School of Compassion in the fall of 2019, we had no idea a pandemic was just around the corner. What we did know was that — with a lot of faith and help from each of you — we could lift up the girls of the village of Mudaka with the gift of education. And we have! We started with grades 1 and 2 and have added a grade each year. This year, our fifth-grade class has opened thanks to a donation from Northridge Presbyterian Church in Dallas, which funded our fifth-grade classroom.
These girls are so happy to be back in school! Thank you for making that happen.

We are also thrilled to announce that 52 of our 140 primary school students are sponsored. This is such an important part of our program, helping us plan and budget throughout the year. Thanks to all of you who sponsor these scholars. If you’re interested in doing so for $29 a month/$350 a year, click here.

It’s going to be a great year at Congo Restoration
