School is in session!

It’s been a rough year for Congo Restoration (you can read a reminder of the violence in the region since February here). So to see our students return — along with 20 new first-graders — is the joy we all need in our lives right now.

Last week, our 120 first- through sixth-grade students came back with their new uniforms, so excited for the new school year. And our older girls, grades 7 and 8, continued at a neighborhood school after graduating from the Congo Restoration All Girls School of Compassion.

If you sponsor one of our students, expect an email later this week with an update. And if you’d like to sponsor one of our girls — just $30 a month or $360 a day covers all of their educational expenses — you can do so here

Wrapping these students up in hope, safety, and empowerment for a fabulous school year. Endless thanks for your continued support. And you’re welcome for the cute photos.

Chair of the Board of Directors
