Craig Wilbanks is a longtime supporter of Congo Restoration. Following his retirement from a career in IT, Craig decided to focus his energy on helping people. He had always admired how Congo Restoration makes every penny matter and today he plays an integral role in our operations as Treasurer and member of the Board of Directors for the organization.
“We keep an incredibly low overhead on our work, so that the money we raise truly gets to the community that we are helping,” he said.

I am impressed with this project. A suggestion: submit a request to be on the Advance list of the United Methodist church, it will market your project more fully and UMChurches will participate more fully. Contact Global Ministries P.O. Box 9068 New York city, NY 1008788-9068 to get more information.
Thank you for reaching out to Congo Restoration. Congo Restoration has been a UMC Advance project nearly from the start (Advance #3021212). A little back history…Congo Restoration’s founder, Gorethy Nabushosi, reached out to the UMC and they put her in contact with the Mission Chair of a church close to her….Greenland Hills United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas and Congo Restoration was born! Many of our board members (me included) are current and former members of GHUMC. Being a part of the church’s Global Ministries has been a blessing for us. So many times when money was tight, we’ve received a random donation of what we call “Magic Methodist Money!” Thank you for your interest in Congo Restoration. May I add you to our newsletter?
